Discovering the Joy + Comfort of Magic

Hi! Hello! Welcome!

I'm Alyssa, the founder of Active Ever After. It has been one of my biggest dreams to build a space where art and fitness co-exist, and to bring the same joy to others as these two things bring to me.

Personally, I have been a lifelong multi-sport athlete with a deep love for various kinds of art, literature, and travel.

Professionally, I have been in the fitness industry for over 15 years as a Coach, Athletic Trainer, Nationally Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Fitness Manager.

It wasn't until I discovered runDisney that these two worlds of mine collided in one space. Here is a place where creative expression is in abundance and people are simultaneously pushing themselves to great physical achievements. Like so many others, that first finish line was something I'll never forget. As my feet carried me, my mind ran into an endless tap of inspiration. 

AEA was hatched from years of finish lines and dreams of a place where art and fitness can exist together beyond the race course. These desires bred the idea for something more: apparel with a subtle aesthetic that showcased pride or passion while also referencing the magic-based activities I adored. The first goal was to create "post race comfort," aka something cozy to wear after running, strength training, or simply to wear while devouring the pages of a good book.

Going forward, the Active Ever After Studio will continue to be fueled by the joy magic brings... and I wish the same for all of you, too!
